Senior Sourcing Specialist (Electrical/Electronics)

The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with an American MNC specializing in medical devices, and we are seeking to hire a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their business permanently! Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the supply base for specific categories. Additionally, to manage cost reduction projects.

• Full-time, permanent opportunity
• Work location: Boon Lay
• Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 6pm
• Basic salary up to $6,500 + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Develop and implement short- and long-term sourcing strategies while managing and optimizing the supplier base through qualification, risk assessment, and contract negotiations, including long-term agreements.
• Drive cost reduction and avoidance through strategic negotiations, supplier process improvements, and productivity enhancements.
• Lead sourcing projects, including production material transitions to low-cost countries and supplier involvement in new product introductions, ensuring critical timelines are met.
• Oversee sourcing aspects of product transfers, ensuring seamless execution.
• Gather market intelligence on suppliers and emerging technology trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Maintain and enhance an efficient sourcing and procurement system.
• Manage and develop the team, fostering skills growth and industry expertise.

The Talent:

• At least 4-5 years of sourcing experience, preferably in electrical/electronics sourcing.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in cost-reduction projects is highly advantageous.
