Job description

What the role is:

Are you an experienced Software Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring top-notch software quality? Join our dynamic Software Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence and play a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical software products that make a difference!

What you will be working on:

Lead the charge in establishing and managing testing procedures and frameworks that adhere to quality standards and regulations, such as ISO.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, cases, data, and scripts to ensure our software products are of the highest quality.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and entry/exit criteria for testing phases.
Perform system and performance testing to ensure our software meets and exceeds expectations.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automated testing tools.
Create and manage test data in test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Communicate test results and status updates to stakeholders effectively.
Continuously improve our software testing process by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing new tools and techniques.

What we are looking for:

A strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, particularly in digital services.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Selenium, Tosca, or similar.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or similar.
Experience with issue management and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, or similar.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools and security testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract in the first instance. Conversion to perm is dependent on good performance.
