The key purpose of this role:

  • Manage the offshore development team, assign and manage workload.
  • Have development experience; articulate requirements, perform solutioning, develop, and assign job load to the offshore team.
  • Manage business expectations and deliver quality, error-free applications. Call center software development experience is mandatory.
  • Coordinate and supervise IT staff members.
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT department.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Research and recommend the latest technology in the market.
  • Monitor application performance and implement procedures for optimization, reliability, and availability.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
  • Build long-term relationships with business and outside vendors for IT-related products and services.

  • Having previous experience as an IT manager for at least 8 years.

Skills for Success:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in call center application development.
  • Ability to manage onshore or offshore development teams, guiding and managing IVR developers.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in IVR development using Avaya Aura Orchestration Designer and Java.
  • Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat, and other web services.
  • Understanding of multiple business stakeholder groups, setup, organization, process, and operations.
  • Excellent writing skills to translate business requirements into IT functional specifications.
  • Ability to drive discussions with business, IT, and vendors.
  • Understanding of the IT landscape and ability to carry out sanity tests.
  • Experienced user of Jira, ServiceNow, HP ALM, etc.
  • Able to function as an experienced end-to-end Business Analyst.
