Senior Software Developer (Java)

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
2. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
3. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and improve the quality of the code.
4. Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that align with the company's architecture standards.
5. Develop the code and provide hands-on engineering expertise to the development teams.
6. Manage UAT User Queries & coordinate UAT Activities to ensure timely completion.
7. Perform unit and system testing of application code, as well as execute implementation activities.
8. Record and track defects uncovered during test execution and escalate the status of issues to project management.
9. Review code, enhance the system, and improve performance.
10. Engage in performance enhancement analysis.
11. Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Java development for a Senior role.
3. Expert-level programming skills in Java and Angular.
4. Strong knowledge of Microservices architectures, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
5. Experience using source code management tools like GIT and building tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
6. Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.
