Senior Software Developer

What you will be working on:

1. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high availability and performance
2. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
3. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and improve the quality of the code
4. Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that align with the company's architecture standards
5. Develop the code and provide hands-on engineering expertise to the development teams
6. Manage UAT User Queries & coordinate UAT Activities to ensure timely completion
7. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved
8. Perform unit and system testing of application code and execute implementation activities
9. Record and track defects uncovered during testing, escalate issues to project management, and update teams on items of impact and resolution participation; design retest cases/scripts/data to retest
10. Review code and enhance system performance
11. Engage in performance enhancement analysis

What we are looking for:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. At least 5 years of proven working experience in Java development for a Senior role
3. Expert-level programming skills in Java and Angular
4. Strong knowledge of Microservices architectures, hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes
5. Experience using the Java Spring Boot framework, RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON, Angular, JPA/Hibernate, Bean Validation; experience with development in Android and iOS is a plus
6. Experience using source code management with GIT and build tools like Ant, Maven, and Gradle
7. Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills in Java/J2EE technologies
8. Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments
9. Good written and verbal communication skills
