Deployment Opportunities
As a Senior Social Worker within the agency, you may be deployed to work with various client groups. We have opportunities in various services which include Individuals & Families, Children & Youth, Mental Health and Seniors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Case & Group Work
Conduct thorough needs and risk assessments, provide expert consultations, and support holistic case management. Maintain accurate casework documentation, approve case assessments, and co-lead reviews of complex cases. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, lead case conferences, and supervise intervention plans. Lead therapeutic and support group sessions, develop outreach programs, and ensure effectiveness through supervision and evaluations.
- Community Work
Design and implement community development initiatives, mobilize resources and volunteers, and organize community programs.
- Programme Development & Implementation
Lead the development of programs addressing service gaps, design and evaluate initiatives, and oversee their implementation.
- Supervision & Professional Leadership
Share best practices, mentor junior social workers and conduct training programs. Ensure adherence to ethical standards, guide systemic service delivery, and manage critical incidents.
- Research
Identify practice gaps, design research projects, and contribute to social work knowledge.
- Other Responsibilities
Support clinical competency development, manage field supervision for students, and lead organizational projects.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor/Postgraduate Diploma/Master in Social Work.
- Postgraduate qualifications and specialized training in areas like trauma-informed practice are advantageous.
- Minimum 6 years in social work with a focus on casework, counseling, group work, and community work.
- Be a registered Social Worker or Counsellor.
- Proficiency in English, strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, excellent clinical and supervision skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective leadership, and organizational skills.
