SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
2. Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
3. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
4. Receive complaints and resolve problems.
5. Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
6. Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
7. Prepare and submit performance reports.
8. Decide on rewards and promotions based on performance.
9. Hire and train new employees.
10. Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
11. Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
12. Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
13. Handle site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
14. Analyze blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
15. Recommend changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as site supervisor or in a relevant role for more than 5 years.
2. Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
3. Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
6. Diploma/Certificate of courses regarding safety management or relevant field.
7. High school diploma; or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
