Senior Site Engineer - LTA Projects (Lifting Certificate)

Job Scope

• Overseeing the construction and implementation of LTA infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams, troubleshooting issues and finding effective solutions
• Coordinating and managing the work of contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks proactively
• Preparing detailed reports, documentation and other deliverables as required by the LTA and company
• Mentoring and developing more junior members of the engineering team

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects for the LTA or other government agencies
• Holds a valid Lifting Engineer Certificate
• Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Expert knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with all levels of the organisation
• Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor and develop more junior engineers
