Senior Site Engineer

Job Description & Requirements:

1. Review of Civil & Structural working drawings and shop drawings in connection with SEM and steel structure shop drawings during pre-construction phase to prepare construction methods, identifying risks to promote strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate.
2. Organizing regular meetings with the sub-contractor's technical teams to resolve technical problems in pre-construction and construction phases.
3. Working closely with the Design team and LTA/QPS (client) to resolve execution issues with appropriate functional proposals with the aid of presentations or sketches.
4. Preparing method statements for construction work including RA and SWP.
5. Preparation of RFIs for site inspections for construction, MPI tests, welding works, and post-concrete works, and also involving in site inspections with QP.
6. Reviewing rebar BBS prepared by subcontractors in compliance with standards and shop drawings for roof slabs, steel structures, and corbel details for precast installation.
7. Site supervision of the construction of structures such as pile caps, underground tanks, base slabs, columns (~12m high) including corbels, RC beams, capping beams, RC and PC beam connections, ramps, steel and RC struts, hanging sumps, and staircases.
8. Reviewing and supervising the site work for surface water drain and waterproofing shop drawings.
9. Assisting the construction manager in planning and preparing daily progress reports.
10. Tracking and optimizing manpower for each task.
11. Preparation of conceptual drawings for steel decking or other temporary structures required on site and reviewing shop drawings submitted by subcontractors, supervising site installation.
12. Reviewing concept drawings and supervising the installation of bracing connections between permanent plunge-in-columns for top-down column construction.
13. Reviewing subcontractor's shop drawings for steel struts and supervising installation work.
