Senior/Shipbroker (Chemical Tanker)

Our client is a Global Shipping Group. Currently, they are seeking a well qualified candidate to join them as "Senior/Ship Broker (Chemical Tanker)".

This role will primarily be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Draw on existing relationships and develop new business relations in the Chemical Tanker sector.
• Work in a strong team environment to achieve the best possible outcome for both ship owning and chartering principles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in shipbroking for Chemical Tankers.
• Possess good business acumen, with sound commercial sense.
• Extensive contacts in the international maritime industry.
• Excellent client management and relationship building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical and numerically inclined.
• Strong negotiation skills and computer literacy.
