A*SRL FELLOW PROGRAMME
The A*STAR Skin Research Labs (A* SRL) Fellowship Programme aims to identify, mentor and nurture aspiring junior researchers in the fields of skin and/or hair research. The programme provides exceptionally talented and promising junior scientists, with background in skin research or related areas, the opportunity to set up and independently run their own research laboratory. Candidates should have between 3- and 5-years of post-doctoral experience and a proven track record of impactful research to be competitive for future fellowship funding.
A* SRL aims to create a translation-focused, clinically oriented, technology-proving, interdisciplinary R&D environment that encourages its scientific talent to interact with industry partners and the clinical community, translating their science into improved healthcare outcomes to support skin and hair health, and mitigate disease.

Successful A* SRL Fellows will be offered financial support, space, and resources in a stimulating and nurturing environment with access to state-of-the-art research facilities for a period of 3 years, during which time they should secure competitive fellowship funding. Candidates must show exceptional promise to develop into world-class researchers and strengthen key strategic research areas of the Institute. Experience in bioinformatics would also be of interest.
