Senior Scientist (Auto-Chem)

Job Summary: Are you passionate about medical science and eager to make a difference? As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients by performing a variety of laboratory tests. Your expertise will help us ensure accurate and timely results, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sample Collection & Preparation: Skillfully collect and prepare biological samples for testing according to protocol and regulation guidelines.
2. Laboratory Testing: Conduct a wide range of tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids using both manual and automated techniques.
3. Result Analysis: Analyze test results with precision and report findings to medical staff promptly using assigned automated machines in specific bench.
4. Equipment Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment / analyzers (Siemens Healthineers ADVIA / Roche COBAS, etc).
5. Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure reliable test results.
6. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
7. Documentation: Accurately document all test procedures and results.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and select appropriate tests.
9. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory testing and medical technology.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or any other related field.
2. Certification: Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in a regulated clinical laboratory setting.
4. Technical Skills: Proficient in using laboratory equipment and performing assigned testing procedures (Auto-Chemistry).
5. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
