Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Create and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned products (metrology, inspection, solution software) and accounts.

  2. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base.

  3. Help Sales team close key orders and increase penetration at multi-national customers.

  4. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

  5. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.

  6. Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  7. Work with marketing communications and product management to develop effective sales materials and promotion strategies.

  8. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition.

  9. Participate in Product Life Cycle process for new offerings for potential volumes, target prices, key specifications and related topics.

  10. Provide market feedback including the competitor information to headquarters for developing sales and marketing strategies.

  11. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical or marketing discipline.

  2. 15 to 20 years Sales experience in metrology and inspection equipment in related industry.

  3. 5+ years managing sales team.

  4. Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  5. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

  7. Strong business sense and industry expertise.

  8. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.

  9. Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.

  10. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  11. Fluent in English.
