Job Description

  1. To achieve monthly sales targets assigned by the Director of Sales, Corporate.
  2. Building long-term business relationships and analyzing the performance of each account.
  3. Minimum of 20 quality sales contacts per week, including sales visits, site inspections, and entertainment.
  4. Familiarization with work processes and approval processes for rate management of corporate accounts and credit applications.
  5. Assist in management of the assigned portfolio for maximum productivity and revenue generated; craft sales strategies and direct overall sales efforts towards maximizing revenue for the Corporate segment.
  6. Proactively source and develop new corporate business in defined areas and market segments, in line with the annual revenue budget.
  7. Work closely with the Director of Sales - Corporate to execute pre-agreed strategies that target corporate business growth.
  8. Responsible for the development and maintenance of all sales accounts and portfolios assigned.
  9. Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and increase market share.
  10. Represent Worldwide Hotels at appropriate industry events, such as conferences and trade shows.
  11. Forecast future travel patterns and provide trade feedback to management.
  12. Timely submission of monthly and quarterly sales reports to the Director of Sales - Corporate.
  13. Any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales, Corporate or AVP Sales.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales capacity or equivalent work experience, including development of account portfolio and business development.
  3. Strong presentation, commercial, and communication skills.
  4. Strong influencer and persuader.
  5. A self-driven personality.
  6. Resourceful and goal-oriented.
  7. Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets, and deliver projects on time.
  8. In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
  9. Proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders, including customers’ senior management.
  10. Comprehension of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
  11. Keeps abreast of changes and assesses trends in market conditions and consumer buying behavior to create strategies that drive business opportunities.
  12. Flexible work approach, positive, and adaptable to changes.
