Job Description

  • To achieve monthly sales targets assigned by the Director of Sales, Corporate.
  • Building long term business relationships and analyzing the performance of each account.
  • Minimum of 20 quality sales contacts per week, including sales visits, site inspections, and entertainment.
  • Familiarization with work processes and approval processes for rate management of corporate accounts and credit applications.
  • Assist in the management of the assigned portfolio for maximum productivity and revenue generation; craft sales strategies and direct overall sales efforts towards maximizing revenue for the Corporate segment.
  • Proactively source and develop new corporate business in defined areas and market segments, in line with the annual revenue budget.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales - Corporate to execute pre-agreed strategies targeting corporate business growth.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of all sales accounts and portfolios assigned.
  • Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and increase market share.
  • Represent Worldwide Hotels at appropriate industry events, such as conferences and trade shows.
  • Forecast future travel patterns and provide trade feedback to management.
  • Timely submission of monthly and quarterly sales reports to the Director of Sales - Corporate.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales, Corporate or AVP Sales.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales capacity or equivalent work experience, including development of account portfolio and business development.
  • Strong presentation, commercial, and communication skills.
  • Strong influencer and persuader.
  • A self-driven personality.
  • Resourceful and goal-oriented.
  • Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets, and deliver projects on time.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
  • Proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders, including customers’ senior management.
  • Comprehension of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
  • Keeps abreast of changes and assesses trends in market conditions and consumer buying behavior to create strategies that drive business opportunities.
  • Flexible work approach, positive and adaptable to changes.
