Senior/Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a portfolio of clients within designated market segments and seek business including but not limited to rooms, events, food & beverage for the hotel to meet sales targets set.
2. Implement all sales related activities such as planning, monitoring, and measuring all customers within the defined territory.
3. Establish a network of contacts with sales colleagues in Singapore for business opportunities. Keep in close touch with the market and advise Assistant Director of Sales/Director of Sales regarding competitive pricing, promotion, products, etc.
4. Participate in sales roadshows/blitzes and attend trade functions, trade shows, and promotions as directed.
5. Organize familiarization of the hotel and its facilities with clients and potential clients and put into motion all sales leads.
6. Implement programs to win continued customer loyalty.
7. Develop productive sales relationships with all customers and effectively manage key accounts allocated to the position.
8. Prepare or vet the sales reports submitted by sales personnel and consolidate such reports for submission to the Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales.
9. Assist the Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales in ensuring the timely preparation and submission of the annual sales budget for management approval and implement the sales budget once approved.
10. Resolve client complaints within the guidelines established by the group. Communicate and work with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of guest requests and experiences.
11. Exercise all reasonable care in safeguarding the hotel’s proprietary information.
12. Perform any other suitable tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales.
