Hitachi High-Tech Singapore Pte Ltd is a subsidiary company of Hitachi High-Tech Corporation, who, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is engaged in activities in a broad range of fields, including Healthcare Solutions, Nano-Technology Solutions, Value Chain Solutions and Core Technology Solutions.

Overview

This role will be part of a team responsible for trading of advanced materials for industrial products across the Southeast Asia region for electronics, semiconductors, renewable energy, including, wafers, optical, facilities parts/equipment and Semiconductor materials.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the strategic planning team focusing on sales and business development activities while maintaining existing relationship with key customers. Build networks, manages relationships, seeks, and identifies business opportunities in Malaysia, Singapore, and ASEAN region.
  • Support in developing and executing strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
  • Support in developing and managing sales and marketing strategies towards acquiring new customers, conducts due diligence and establishing relationships, continuously expand sales revenue, including adequate communication with suppliers and customers to promote products, solutions, discuss demands and trends, develop promotional ideas and material for solution business etc.
  • Sales of products and solutions through specialized knowledge of the products, along with deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Follow up on customer payment status, support in procurement, inventory analysis, and resolving shipment issues.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis and Support Management on budget preparation.
  • Proactively communication and work with all stakeholders to provide customized solution based on customer’s requirement.

Requirements:

  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or Business or equivalent.
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors Optical Communication, Optics, or other related industries
  • Demonstrated sales record, the initiative to acquire new customers, recommend solutions and execute sales is required.
  • Technical and product knowledge of electronic devices/machinery is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the latest market and business trends
  • Data analytics skills to harness financial data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin are required to communicate with supplier/customer from China or Taiwan, knowledge of Japanese is also an advantage for communication with counterparts from Japan.
  • Able to travel frequently for business
