(Senior) Sales Engineer in electrical engineering industry
Responsibilities:
Conduct sales activities, including customer prospecting, outreach, presentations, follow-ups, and order closures.
Manage all sales inquiries, including in-person and phone inquiries.
Verify and compare cost estimates against actual project costs, ensuring accuracy and budget control.
Serve as customer liaison, reviewing contracts, terms, and conditions.
Drive business development and explore new market opportunities.
Plan and execute marketing strategies.
Perform market research, monitor industry trends, and track sales performance.
Set project and sales targets/forecasts.
Prepare cost estimates for products such as switchboards.
Coordinate internal and external tasks, including drawing approvals, quality checks, engineering issues, delivery schedules, and commissioning.
Generate invoices for completed orders and follow up on overdue payments.
Assess our product capabilities to meet customer needs.
Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures for compliance.
Requirements:
3–5 years of sales experience in the electrical engineering industry preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Switchboard/panel (marine/industrial) knowledge is a plus.
Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle required.
Willingness to travel.
