Senior Safety Officer cum ECO

Job Descriptions

1. Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
2. Monitoring and verifying that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.
3. Keeping records of all activities/incidents concerning the environment on site and issuing of spot fines for transgression of activities identified in the EMP.
4. Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
5. Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure the permit to work system is in place.
6. Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
7. Ability to lead and advise on safety programs.
8. Review and maintain site's WSH records.
9. Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or other relevant subjects.
2. Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
3. Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract.
4. Good interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Working location at project site office, Pasir Ris.
7. 5.5 working days.
8. Short notice period or can immediately onboard will be an advantage.
