Job Overview
This role can be based anywhere in SEA. We are open to relocation from other global locations to Singapore.
This role is critical to the CS Segment EHS leadership team, focusing on reducing safety risks across all sites. Their primary role will start from machine/process safety:
- Implement and ensure compliance with risk assessment and machine/process safety standards and specifications established by TE and CS Segment.
- Establish a clear vision and strategy driving design for safety and machine/process safety.
- Set clear goals and KPIs. Work closely with BUs, sites, and function teams (such as Manufacturing Engineering, Center of Excellence, and Manufacturing Automation) to establish appropriate goals and drive proactive action plans to reduce risks of various job tasks associated with machine operation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.
- Create POC for engineering control, substitution, and elimination of risks.
- Coach and develop BU and site machine/process safety teams and establish a talent pipeline.
- Establish a culture that drives the most effective safety controls.
- Drive machine/process safety improvement and integration for new acquisitions.
- Lead safety assurance program.
This role will focus on developing and implementing actions that deliver short-term results while enhancing long-term safety capabilities to achieve success. They should have a global mindset, exceptional business acumen, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to safety.

What your background should look like:
Required Skills /Education:
- Bachelor's degree in safety or manufacturing engineering or similar subject.
- Total Years Experience 12+, More than 5 years of experiences in safety engineering or manufacturing engineering field.
- Have extensive knowledge and expertise in influencing safety across complex manufacturing operations in global settings.
- The candidate must have direct experience overseeing sizeable global manufacturing operations with various core processes such as stamping, plating, molding, assembly, compounding, tubing, and cabling and a track record of success.
- A hands-on, accountable, action-oriented leader who can align the organization towards critical actions that drive excellent results and performance.

COMPENSATION
•Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $141,200 - $211,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
