Carry out inspection of engineering works prior to concreting, subsequent construction work and defects rectification works.
Supervise and inspect the works as directed by the Supervision QP, CRE, SRE, consultants, or Superintending Officer.
Manage and supervise the Resident Technical Officer under his charge.
Ensure records of all engineering works, including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc., are timely updated and properly kept.
Attend site, progress, variation, and coordination meetings.
Verify all reports and claims submitted by the contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university by PE Board Singapore.
Registered Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
Minimum 10 years' experience in supervision of institutional development with strong knowledge in civil engineering work, bored piling, structural steel, and reinforced concrete construction.
Must be familiar with local regulations/codes for civil & structural related to building projects.
A good team player with experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
Strong ability to interpret the contract documents and drawings related to the works.
Ability to resolve site and technical issues and prepare detailed site progress reports.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Effective communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels.
