Senior Resident Engineer

Lead the REs and SRTOs/RTOs to monitor, supervise and inspect works.
Work with the QP(D) / QP(S) / QP(Geo) to resolve all design and technical issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
Manage the Supervision Team to monitor, supervise and inspect works.
Review contractors’ proposals, method statements, risk assessments and designs, including assisting QP(S) and QP(Geo) in reviewing the construction proposals.
Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings with CAG and the contractors.

Job Requirement

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, with at least 8 years on projects similar in size and complexity, particularly major construction works in buildings and deep excavation.
• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Manage the Supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.
• Possess strong supervision and leadership skills.
