Senior Research Officer / Research Coordinator Human Development, IHDP

The Integrative Adolescence Research Programme (IARP) initiative aims to understand the Singapore adolescents' health through psychological well-being, aspects of physical health and environmental factors.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocol and the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
• Support research ethics board applications.
• Plan, implement, and maintain data collection in accordance with research protocol.
• Recruit, instruct, and coordinate research subjects and/or volunteers, as appropriate to specific study objectives and work scope.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities.
• Work with participants across a range of settings (e.g., hospital, university research lab), and hours (e.g., some weekends and evenings).
• Support additional research and administrative duties (e.g., preparation of manuscripts for publication, conference presentations, purchases, grant reports).
• Monitor the progress of research activities; develop and maintain records of research activities, and prepare periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BSc degree in psychology, neuroscience, child development, biology or related fields.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, willing to learn, able to work independently, good communication skills, and able to multi-task.
