Senior Quantity Surveyor (Up to $5000)

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (ID6010)
Location: Singapore Based (Office at City Hall, current project at Lakeside)
Working Hours: 5.5 Days work per week (8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday Half Day - can claim OT)
Salary: $4,200 - $5,000

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Able to perform leadership and training to AE team
2. Provide constructive suggestions to superiors with solutions to problems
3. Communicate effectively with staff and lead with guidance to avoid misunderstandings throughout the tender process
4. Responsible for all tender costing before presentation to superiors for management meetings
5. Work proactively, well-coordinated in reports, and able to meet superior's expectations
6. Be a driver, not a passenger
7. Build relationships based on mutual trust and respect
8. Willingness to listen, learn, and adopt new practices
9. Focus on continuous improvement
10. Attend and respond to all tender submissions, tender interviews, and post-tender addendums
11. Perform due diligence on work scope and responsibilities
12. Basic QS job scope (e.g., measurement and calling quotations) still applies if internal staff resources are tight
13. Above 5 years of experience in A & A works tender preferred

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent
2. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to handle queries and communicate effectively with our Mandarin-speaking clients)
3. Able to manage and mentor junior staff
4. Above 5 years of experience in A & A works tender preferred
