Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established marine company located in Tuas is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position.

• 8 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri, 8 am to 12 noon Sat
• Shuttle Bus at designated MRT stations

Responsibilities:

• Quantity measurement of the following trades:
  • Structural works.
  • Piping works.
  • Electrical and instrumentation works.
  • Mechanical and equipment works.
  • Painting works.
• Reconcile MTO with the client.
• Monitoring changes on-site with production teams, which could be identified in the following:
  • Design drawing changes.
  • Site instruction from Client.
  • Job Confirmation Sheet from client.
  • Identification of Changes (IOC) from Production Team.
  • Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (COVI) from Production Team.
  • Monitoring periodically on the increased or decreased works scope.
  • Handle any Commercial Claims (i.e. Extension of Time, disputed claims, etc).
• Contracts Management:
  • Ensure that our works & costs are in-line with the contract.
  • Able to identify variances arising in the contract.
  • Manage any disputed items.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or relevant courses.
• Min 3 years of experience in QS.
• Able to handle full scope of QS duties which includes material take-off and variations.
