Senior QAQC Engineer

The Senior QAQC Engineer is responsible for the below:

1. Prepare Inspection Test Planning (ITP) based on the Project Quality Plan.
2. Promote quality awareness (Quality Assurance) through photographic Do/Not Do to site personnel to reduce rework.
3. Conduct project specific quality training and certification aligned with Quality Control Manager training plan.
4. Conduct QC Inspection from material incoming, fit-up inspection, welding inspection, FAT, dimension checks, site installation checks, SAT, compile test package, line check, punch list compilation, hydrotesting, passivation and verify reinstatement.
5. Compile relevant material certificates & test reports from suppliers for material inspection.
6. Report preparation, welding data, material data, Non-Conformance and Punch items, NDT Testing and coverage status, Pressure Testing status, test package progress status key in and control.
7. Ability to handle and utilize database software for data management (company software or client software system as per project requirement).
8. Study flushing plan and compile test package for hydrotesting to support flushing plan.
9. Coordinate with Client/Client Rep for joint quality inspection as per ITP.
10. Conduct internal line check to compile punch list and drive closure of Punch A before joint Line Check.
11. Joint Line Check with Client Rep to confirm readiness for hydrotesting and to compile further punch if any.
12. Joint inspection with Client to witness start and end of pressure test.
13. Client witness of water quality after chemical flushing before addition of passivation chemicals.
14. Provide monthly quality performance reports to PMT and Quality Control Manager.
15. Project Welder Certification control and Welding Quality Performance monitoring and reporting, general work quality performance monitoring and reporting.

To be a good fit, you would possess these qualities and skills:

1. Over 5 years of QAQC experience in relevant industries.
2. Familiarity with piping, structural and mechanical equipment installation.
3. CSWIP Welding Inspector Level 3, or equivalent Welding Engineer certification.
4. Strong knowledge in ASMI, API and other international standards.
5. Expertise in documentation, document control, and data handling.
6. Familiarity with different materials such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and various types of engineering plastics.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Attention to detail; meticulous in handling quality control processes and inspections.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
