We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible for developing and implementing effective QA strategies and methodologies and carry out detailed functional testing to ensure products are well tested before market release. In this role, you will be required to work closely with the development team and product managers to ensure that the products meet the quality standards. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans and schedules.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

1. Work with product stakeholders to develop test strategies and create product test plans for new products and maintain the test plans for existing products.
2. Perform product inspection and functional testing for quality and conformance to product specifications and deliverables.
3. Generate test reports and conduct processes such as data and result archival.
4. Participate in product quality review meetings with product stakeholders.
5. Conduct investigations of internal and customer reports of product quality issues and perform follow-up testing, documentation, and reporting.
6. Monitor and maintain product issue logs and provide updates to managers and the product development team.

Requirements & Skills

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in product software or system testing.
2. Experience in leadership roles, especially in QA relevant positions will be favorable.
3. Strong knowledge of products or software QA methodologies and tools.
4. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong written communication and report writing skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
8. Experience or expertise in any of the following domain areas will be favorable:
1. Networking or networking domain knowledge (CCNA, CCNP) or products e.g., routers or switches.
2. Software development and/or test automation scripting.
3. Cybersecurity domain knowledge (e.g., SSCP, CISSP) or products, e.g., encryption, IDS, or firewall products.
