Senior Public Relations Officer (Senior PRO)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Public Relations Officer (Senior PRO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in public relations and media design, with a strong focus on communication, conflict resolution, and proactive stakeholder management. You will play a vital role in maintaining the company’s public image, addressing feedback, managing complaints, and ensuring effective communication during construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle, communicate, and resolve conflicts, feedback, and complaints related to ongoing projects.
2. Work closely with contractors to address and resolve complaints arising from construction activities in a timely and professional manner.
3. Participate in project meetings, take accurate minutes, and ensure that any public relations concerns are effectively communicated.
4. Maintain records of all public relations-related cases, communications, and correspondences related to projects.
5. Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.
6. Coordinate and manage media relations, ensuring the company’s messaging is consistent across all channels.
7. Design and create media materials, including press releases, brochures, and digital content to support communication efforts.
8. Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for proactive public relations efforts.
9. Provide crisis communication support when required, addressing negative publicity or issues promptly and professionally.
10. Support other teams, such as marketing and social media, to align public relations activities with broader company initiatives.
11. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management or project teams.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, media design, or a similar communication role.
2. Proven experience in managing stakeholder communication, handling complaints, and resolving conflicts, particularly in the construction or infrastructure industry.
3. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate company positions clearly and effectively.
4. Experience in attending project meetings and accurately recording minutes.
5. Creative and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive records and documentation.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Additional Information:

1. Salary Range S$3000 to S$4500
