Lead the development and implementation of international public relations strategies to support business goals, brand positioning, and market expansion.
Oversee content development, ensuring that all messaging is culturally sensitive, relevant, and effective across international markets.
Collaborate with internal and regional teams to maintain and elevate the company’s brand presence, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment of all PR activities with the company’s vision and values.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, influencers, and thought leaders in both English and Chinese-speaking markets.
Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and activities, preparing reports for senior management with insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
Proactive in media monitoring and analyzing industry trends, identifying emerging issues and rectifying negative publicity/impact.
Develop crisis management protocol and lead communications during any PR crises, ensuring clear messaging and a rapid and effective response.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate communications/media relations. Experience in international PR is a must, preferably in a public listed company.
Fluent in both English and Chinese (both written and verbal) to liaise with international stakeholders.
Proven track record of executing successful global PR/marketing campaigns.
Strong network of international media contacts and understanding of global media landscapes and cultural nuances.
Excellent communicator with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different markets.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strategic thinker with good problem-solving and crisis communication skills.
