Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Project planning and requirements gathering, ensuring project requirements are met
  2. Creation and management of project plans
  3. Manage the entire budget for the project
  4. Stakeholder management - internal and liaising with 3rd party agencies
  5. Ensure projects run on time and are staffed appropriately
  6. Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality
  7. Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management
  8. Involve in the budgeting process
  9. Provide management updates for projects/programme portfolio
  10. Keep updated with Corporate Enterprise Architect requirements
  11. Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables
  12. Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings
  13. Monitor costs, timescales, and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances
  14. Manage risk, issues, and dependency management for the entire project
  15. Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience

Job Requirements

  1. Education & Certification
  • Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and / or Agile
  • Knowledge of PM tools and reporting methods
  • Experience
    • 5+ years proven industry experience in IT Project Management
    • Possess a proven and successful track record in delivering complex large scale IT projects/programs
    • Experience in a project management methodology - Prince2, PMP
    • Hands-on IT professional with full SDLC lifecycle experience
  • Other Prerequisites
    • Hands-on, delivery focused and pragmatic
    • Ability to communicate with the business client in non-technical terms
    • Ability to give presentations
    • Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment
