Senior / Project Manager (Ref.No. R1008524)

at our location in Singapore

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

1. Ensure successful transition to the project and contributes to preparing, organizing and validating the project launch
2. Establish and update project requirements baseline in collaboration with the Bid Manager
3. Establish and update project executive baseline (project structure, work package description, partners and supplier contractual data, management plans, costs, budgets and financial structure, resourced schedule)
4. Establish and update project key decision data (contingencies, strategy, business case)
5. Initialize the project; identify key project stakeholders, set the project team, organize the project structuring activities, start-up project activities, and identify and allocate the source project requirements
6. Manage the financial aspects of the acquisition Make or Buy strategy, supplier consultation and negotiation, signing contract, contract execution and closure.
7. Lead the project launch review and involve all stakeholders: project team, Management plan and associated documents, industrial scenario, team charter etc.
8. Execute, monitor and control the projects until completion
9. Control the requirements, costs and schedule during all project life cycle
10. Manage project quality and customer and stakeholder overall satisfaction
11. Manage legal and contractual requirements
12. Conduct regular progress review meetings, reporting the project progress to the company senior management.

You have:

1. Proven track record of managing system projects, preferably in a railway environment, of at least 10 years
2. Sound understanding of project management principles and their application in complex project environments
3. Degree qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
4. Membership of a recognised professional institution
5. Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management concepts and principles.
6. A good command of spoken and written English and strong ability to engage in detailed technical discussions
