Preparation of Technical Documents: Prepare method statements and work procedures, ensuring that they align with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Progress Meetings: Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with subcontractors to update and monitor the progress of work, addressing any issues that arise.
Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and complies with all relevant government and safety regulations.
Drawing and Documentation Control: Oversee the management and control of drawings and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper filing.
Resource Management: Manage the procurement of resources, monitor and control material usage on-site to prevent wastage, and ensure that materials are used correctly.
Coordination and Liaison: Assist Senior Project Engineer in coordinating with consultants on change orders. Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to provide necessary supporting documents for these changes.
Site Management: Organize labor, equipment, and materials for daily site activities, ensuring smooth operations.
Material Inspection: Perform material receiving inspections and maintain accurate records of materials.
Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly progress reports, maintain inspection records, and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Candidates with knowledge of structural and architectural trades are preferred.
1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
