As a Senior / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Projection Management Support:
• Assist in Planning & Implementation such as reviewing project plans and schedules to ensure alignment with the master work program.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to update plans as required by project developments or changes.
• Draft, review and submit project documents including schedules, method statements, design plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure that all submissions are complete, accurate and timely.
• Site Management & Supervision:
• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, construction drawings, and company standards.
• Implement and monitor Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices on-site.
• Quality Assurance:
• Regularly inspect work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
• Address any discrepancies or issues immediately and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Act as the main point of contact for Client's representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers.
• Ensure clear communication and prompt resolution of any technical or non-technical issues.
• Site Inspections & Reports:
• Coordinate with clients or consultants for site inspections.
• Maintain records of all inspections and technical reports.
• Risk Control & Documentation:
• Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Regularly review and update risk assessments to reflect the current project status.
• Document Control:
• Establish and maintain a robust document control system.
• Ensure all project documents, including design drawings and specifications, are properly reviewed and updated.
• Progress Monitoring & Meetings:
• Participate in regular meetings with Client's representatives, consultants, and contractors.
• Report on project progress, highlight any issues, and propose solutions to keep the project on schedule.
• Verify Progress Payments:
• Work with the Quantity Surveying (QS) team to verify progress payments and claims from Contractors.
• Ensure accuracy in progress documentation and payment requests.
• Additional Duties:
• Be prepared to take on additional tasks as assigned by your superior or management.
• Maintain a proactive approach to support the Project Manager and project team in achieving project goals.
• Regular Reviews:
• Conduct regular reviews of project documents, quality standards, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and address any emerging issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Professional Engineer Board.
• 5 years’ experience in Deep excavation, Pipe laying & Jacking Works, Coordination with authorities, sub-contractors, etc., and Accredited Construction Professional C (ACPC) by Singapore Contractors Association Ltd.
• Additional skills in AutoCAD, Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project are advantageous.
