Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the engineering sector. The successful candidate will provide general direction to ensure the successful completion of projects, managing quality standards, budgets, and timelines. You will oversee the identification of critical project execution aspects, prevent potential issues, and monitor man-hour consumption across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects valued between $3-20 million and above.
• Facilitate coordination between various disciplines, procurement, and construction teams.
• Conduct contract reviews, risk analysis, and develop contingency plans.
• Organize and allocate resources for project task force and staff assignments.
• Establish project policies for quality, safety, cost control, and scheduling.
• Lead kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Prepare and monitor budget plans and cost analysis throughout the project.
• Oversee EPC cost estimation and ensure project timelines are met.
• Represent the company in client meetings and manage client relations.
• Manage project documentation, design changes, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred, with at least 8 years of experience in project management or a related field.
• Solid understanding of all engineering disciplines, including Process Technical Knowledge.
• Proficiency in Basic Design, P&ID, and the fundamentals of project management.
• Experience with front-end engineering, project planning, and scheduling tools.
• Proven track record in EPC Project Management within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects professionally and diligently in line with company standards.
