Senior Project Engineer

What you will do:

Acts as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete assigned projects. Delegates tasks to execute and fully complete assigned projects. Coordinates communication with customers during all phases of the project. Coordinates the work of subcontractors.

How you will do it:

• Define scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Devise project implementation methodology.
• Plan and oversee work schedule for multiple small to medium scale projects under responsibility, in coordination with supervisor.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Establish effective communication with customers.
• Track and update progress, tasks, and project health to supervisors.
• Ensure and monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Perform regular quality audits for all suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify and secure variation orders.
• Cost control: Track, monitor, and ensure delivery of financial commitments as per CIS.
• Manage reports and documents.
• Work closely with Sales team for tender bidding.
• Supervise subcontractors’ work on site.
• Schedule purchase and deliveries of all materials for the project in a timely manner.
• Assign tasks to and supervise Assistant Project Engineer, Technician, if any.
• System applications, drafting, database generation, and commissioning.
• Follow up on payment from customers and verify payment to our suppliers.
• Train customers and provide first year maintenance warranty schedule visits.
• Hand over project to customer and later to service team.

What we look for:

• Diploma/Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience (ITC) or 5 years of relevant experience in Building Services, M&E, or construction.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Project.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to interact with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Willingness to work odd hours as required to meet project deadlines.
