Designation: Senior/Producer, Current Affairs (Insight)

Responsibilities

CNA is looking for a Producer/Senior Producer for its regional TV and online platform, for the programme "Insight". "INSIGHT" is a current affairs programme that aims to open the minds of viewers to the political, social, and economic realities facing today's societies.

As a producer, you will be deeply involved in pitching, researching, writing, and crafting the stories around some of the most important issues affecting the region and the world.

You should be dynamic, resourceful, and brave, as you could be interviewing politicians one day and filming the front lines of a disaster zone the next.

You must have a flair for writing and a strong interest in news and current affairs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A strong news sense, with a good knowledge of local and regional issues.
• Possess a flair for writing, good story-telling ability as well as an excellent command of the English language. Fluency in other languages will be a plus.
• Ability to exercise individual judgment, spot important trends and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Possess good analytical skills, creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness.
• Good degree, preferably in Political Science, Arts & Social Science, Journalism, Mass Communication or Economics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Production experience will be an added advantage.
