Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. Analyses and evaluates marine and topside equipment for purchase.

2. Negotiates with supplier.

3. Reviews purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with the project requirement and a time schedule.

4. Liaises with project team and external vendors to ensure that the equipment/parts and materials are met within project’s specification and budget.

5. Manages full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc).

6. Issues and processes of purchase order in accordance with company policies and procedures.

7. Expedites order, monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

8. Proposes recommendation for vendors and evaluates vendor’s performances.

9. Coordinates all warehouse operation matters to ensure all are in good order.

10. Resolves any discrepancy found on delivered equipment and material upon receiving.

11. Ensures proper gathering and distribution of all records, forms and reports pertaining to the receiving, storage, movement and control of equipment/materials.

12. Supervises and manages warehouse personnel to ensure that the completions of tasks are in accordance to plans and schedules.

Requirements

1. Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related discipline.

2. 5 years of relevant working experience.

3. Knowledge of topside equipment will be an added advantage.

4. Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided).

5. Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

7. Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

8. Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, will be an added advantage.
