Senior Procurement Executive (M&E / Construction / Sourcing)

Job Description:

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

1. Identify potential vendors and suppliers for M&E equipment (e.g., Transformers, Cables, Switchgears, Electrical Panels, Lightings, circuit-breakers, etc).
2. Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, and pricing.
3. Negotiate contracts and establish favourable terms.
4. Create new vendors.
5. Perform due diligence checks on major/preferred vendors.

Purchase Order Processing:

1. Administer purchase requisition, quotes, and issuance of purchase orders.
2. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
3. Coordinate with project teams to align procurement needs.
4. Maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Quality Assurance:

1. Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased M&E equipment.
2. Resolve any shortcomings or discrepancies promptly.

Supplier Relations:

1. Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers.
2. Address any issues or concerns related to deliveries, quality, or pricing.

Cost Optimization:

Work closely with the Cost Management and BD teams to optimize costs without compromising quality.

1. Explore cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchases or alternative suppliers.

Job Requirements:

1. Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
2. Min 5 years in procurement within M&E / Construction sector.
3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Familiarity with M&E equipment and industry standards.
