Senior Procurement Engineer (Electronics)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Handle Supplier Management and accountable for supplier selection and strategies alliance
• Develop and manage relationship with all key suppliers
• Conduct regular review on suppliers quality and cost reduction target
• Develop and implement vendor managed inventory program
• Liaise with suppliers on all quality issues
• Product transfer and new product introduction
• Lead procurement activities in product transfer and new product introduction
• Continuous improvement and liaise with suppliers on quality improvement program
• Drive continuous process improvement by measuring and analysing suppliers and process efficiency
• Involved in procurement cost reduction, develop and implement cost reduction activities
• Disposal of non-conforming or suspected non-conforming materials
• Liaise with the necessary internal and external parties on the disposal of non-conforming materials

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electronics Engineering or any related discipline
• Minimum 5 Years work experience in Engineering and Sourcing
• Minimum 5 Years work experience in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 Years' work experience in Electronics industry
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Have experience in leading new product introduction
• Proficient in SAP R/3 or HANA
