Senior Process & Mechanical Engineer (Water Treatment) / East

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Process & Mechanical Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Job Responsibilities

1. Interpret initial design data from internal proposal or sales teams.

2. Work with internal teams to develop technical and commercial proposals.

3. Design the systems that meet project requirements.

4. Perform calculations and size equipment accurately.

5. Create datasheets for valves, equipment, instruments, and piping.

6. Prepare technical documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and interface schematics.

7. Review 3D models of equipment skids for compliance with project standards.

8. Review vendor quotations and technical submissions to ensure specification compliance.

9. Support cost estimation throughout the project and coordinate pricing inputs.

10. Participate in vendor assessments and risk reviews during the bidding process.

11. Assist in commissioning, site inspections, and construction activities as needed.

12. Provide troubleshooting and performance support for ongoing operations.

13. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirement

1. Min Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)

2. At least 5 years of experience in Water and Waste Treatment or Oil and Gas onshore/offshore experience.

3. Knowledge in designing of complex industrial water treatment systems

4. Experience in project management / plant testing & commissioning / facility setup will be an added advantage

5. Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
