We are working with a telecom company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Senior/Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Singapore team. The package is competitive at SGD 108k-156k / year (excluding bonus).
Overview: Responsible for securing IT and 5G networks by implementing best practices, mitigating risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Operations & Governance: Monitor and manage firewalls, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, and other security tools. Develop security policies for access control, VPNs, and antivirus solutions. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security awareness training.
Incident Management & Threat Intelligence: Develop and execute incident response plans, coordinate security drills, lead investigations, and implement threat modeling strategies. Maintain cyber incident response playbooks.
Project Management: Oversee IT and network security projects, manage security tools, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Technical Expertise: Work with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint), Cisco, F5 load balancers, NAC, VPNs, encryption, and cloud security. Maintain security infrastructure and documentation.
Requirements:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
8-10 years in information security, with 5+ years leading security projects.
Expertise in Cybersecurity Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management.
Proficiency in Networking, Firewalls, Kubernetes, Active Directory, Linux/Windows, and MITRE frameworks.
