Act as strategic interface between IT and assigned business units, accountable for achieving business outcomes

Contribute to development of business unit’s strategy, plans and priorities by providing relevant inputs and understanding of existing and emerging technologies, applications and trends

Function as IT’s advocate, marketer and communicator by developing a solid understanding of the current and planned IT architecture, applications, technologies and solutions that support business

Engage and communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, senior project stakeholders and sponsors, to achieve business outcomes

Portfolio Planning and Management
Handle project portfolio planning and management for assigned business units and within CBS IT Division
Lead cross-functional business and IT teams in the assessment of initiatives to establish requirements, high-level solution, cost estimates and delivery duration for business case viability
Collaborate with key business stakeholders, project sponsors and different IT domain leads to oversee delivery of end-to-end IT solution, including resolving escalated issues and disputes while achieving business outcomes
Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams for approved initiatives
Support delivery teams with appropriate resource, reporting and financial management inputs
Monitor and ensure relevant Service Level Agreements are met and work on improvement plans when necessary
Prepare high-impact content generation, regular management reports and presentations for senior leadership team
Budgeting and Financial Management
Act as key partner to CBS and IT teams in running and managing Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including but not limited to leading logistics support for AOP preparation, developing strategic themes, collating and fact-checking submissions of presentation materials from internal stakeholders and then, integrating the submissions into a coherent presentation flow and refining the AOP presentation to senior leadership team
Support in managing the content for Business Performance Review and Weekly Trade Meeting (including developing relevant themes, monitoring material submissions, conducting first cut sanity check on the submissions & ensuring timely upload of materials for advanced reading by senior leadership team)
Support in the coordination, managing and running of key internal events and workshops to facilitate strategic planning
Manage capital and operational budgets to deliver maximum business value within financial and operational constraints, and provide cost transparency to business
Prepare monthly financial reports for budget forecast review and budget variance explanation at CBS IT Division, project and product-oriented delivery squad levels
Deliver financial submissions and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders in accordance with Singtel capital management processes
Skills for Success:
Tertiary qualification in IT, business management, product management or equivalent experience
At least 8 to 10 years of IT Project Management, Business Program Management, Product Development and/or Account Management experience
Extensive experience in a customer-facing role; strong experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships within similar organizations
Confidence and effectiveness in relationship building – excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels
Excellent in strategic planning and execution
Ability to lead business and IT transformation initiatives involving cross-functional teams
Strong budgeting and financial management skills with keen eye for detail
Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
Clear communication and effective presentation skills to convey ideas and engage stakeholders
Strong knowledge of project and software delivery life cycle and challenges involved
Flexible, ability to perform in ambiguous situations, and adapt as business evolves
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders and manage different initiatives concurrently
