Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for pharmaceutical products.
  2. Conduct strategic sourcing, horizon scanning, and market landscape analysis.
  3. Engage suppliers to ensure quality level, cost improvement, and supply efficiency.
  4. Work with supply chain operations to review and revise internal processes to improve efficiencies.
  5. Identify, facilitate, and administer projects on pharmaceuticals procurement and supplies.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the planning for the pharmaceutical purchasing programme.
  7. Lead and manage the procurement team including performance review, providing guidance and advice on day-to-day work.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional practice experience.
  2. A registered pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  3. Good knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging stakeholders.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Relevant experience in procurement and inventory management of drugs and pharmaceutical products.
  8. Good knowledge in SAP-MM, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  9. Good negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  10. Self-motivated, independent worker with team spirit and good problem-solving skills.
