Senior On-site Engineer for Two-stroke and Four-stroke Marine Engines

About the role

As a Senior On-site Engineer for Two-stroke and Four-stroke Marine Engines, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing marine engines for MARINSMART GLOBAL SERVICE PTE. LTD. Located at the Singapore General Hospital in the Central Region, this full-time position will involve hands-on technical work and project management responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

• Provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for two-stroke and four-stroke marine engines
• Conduct inspections, testing, and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues
• Coordinate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance
• Oversee the work of junior engineers and technicians to ensure high standards of service
• Document all maintenance activities and prepare detailed reports

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of two-stroke and four-stroke marine engines
• Strong technical knowledge of marine engine systems, including fuel, lubrication, cooling, and electrical systems
• Proficient in maintenance and repair of ship systems of MAN, Wartsila
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Relevant engineering degree or professional certification in Mechanical Engineering
