Job description

SIA Engineering are looking for different roles for our Supply Chain Division:

Warehouse Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and ensuring 3rd party logistics (3PL) and Joint Warehouse performance against work scope and performance targets set for SIAEC
  • Draft operational procedures for warehouse process
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with EC business units, Joint Warehouse and 3PL to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Participate to plan, drive and execute warehousing improvements projects through the deployment of IT, Technology, Innovation and Transformation together with the 3PL
  • Ensuring the Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements in SIAEC warehouses are met and maintained
  • Ensure the warehousing operations meet the regulatory or contractual requirements
  • Ensuring documentation and keeping accurate warehouse records
  • Assist in conducting regular stock audits to ensure inventory integrity
  • Perform verification of invoices to ensure accuracy of items and amount billed
  • Support warehouse management in various administrative tasks as needed
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Operations or Engineering
  • At least 2 years’ relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP applications and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to manage multiple duties and responsibilities at one time
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Material Planning Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) to determine materials required to support Business Units activities.
  • Perform routine review of current MRP settings to ascertain accuracy and correctness.
  • Coordinating with business units regarding past and upcoming maintenance activities and the material requirement
  • Aggregate demands for materials required on a division and company level
  • Ensure that operational divisions update their materials requirement forecast into the stock optimisation system timely and correctly
  • Work with purchasing to ensure material supply is in accordance to the procurement plan.
  • Monitoring of MRP Inventory status and internal KPIs.
  • Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and supply disruptions
  • Assist in generation of monthly inventory and analysis reports.
  • Engagement with vendors to ensure vendor consignment service level and performance are met
  • Review consignment vendors billing and highlight discrepancies
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • At least 2 years work experience
  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & SAP applications
  • Proficiency in stock optimisation application would be an added advantage
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple duties and responsibilities at one time
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Procurement Officer

Responsibilities:
• Drive and track Purchase Requisition to PO (Purchase Orders) conversion timely with a team of Buyers.
• Provide guidance to buyers to ensure adherence to existing organisational procurement guidelines; to ensure that best procurement procedures and practices are in place.
• Source, formulate and execute sourcing strategies to support user division requirements and assigned categories.
• Establish new relationships with new suppliers while also maintaining existing relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure they are met.
• Initiate and drive any continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure good conduct, discipline, welfare, proper discharge of duties and responsibilities by staff under his/her charge
• Assist in generating management reports related to procurement activities; &
• Carry out any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
• Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Engineering
• At least 2 years’ work experience in a supervisory capacity or 4 works relevant working experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & SAP applications
• Proficiency in e-procurement applications such as SESAMi or SAP Ariba is a plus
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple duties and responsibilities at one time
• Excellent leadership skills

Material Sales Officer

Responsibilities:

  • To respond to customers enquiries for quotations and availability of inventory for sale. Execute data entry tasks related to billing, order updates, and customer interactions with precision and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of inventory
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure timely billing of sales
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all sales-related activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels
  • Support the Materials Sales Executive in maintaining customer relationships and responding to inquiries
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Experience Levels:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 2 years’ work experience
  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & SAP applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
