Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support and IT solutions for trading to clients.
Assist clients with troubleshooting and guide them through technical issues.
Prepare and deliver training materials or sessions to educate clients on platform features and updates.
Work closely with the IT department to report bugs, provide feedback and assist in platform improvements.
Liaise with the trading desk and business teams to ensure platform performance aligns with trading operations and requirements.
Assist in deploying new releases, upgrades or patches to the platform.
Create and maintain detailed documentation related to system configuration, troubleshooting steps and incident reports.
Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Diploma/degree in a technical discipline.
At least 2 years’ proven work experience in IT or similar support roles, preferably in a financial or trading environment.
Strong knowledge of trading platforms, order management system (OMS)and related financial technologies.
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain technical issues/concepts to the vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Hands on experience with platforms will be an advantage: CQG, MT4, TT, PATS, BLOOMBERG, FIS, FLEXTRADE and Single Bank Platforms.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin for effective communication with Chinese counterparts in Taiwan Head Office.
May require occasional work outside of normal business hours or weekends to address critical platform issues.
