Senior Network Engineer (Up to 6k + AWS + VB/ Firewalls Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, with a focus on firewalls (Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Configure and maintain network security policies, VPNs, and firewall rules to ensure a secure and optimized network environment.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and other infrastructure projects.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for network-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Perform regular network audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain a high level of security and compliance.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices to continuously improve the network environment.

Requirements:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in Network Engineer or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network security devices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

[Advantage]

• Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIP, PCNSE, NSE) are a plus.
• Experience with additional networking technologies such as Cisco, Dell, or other network vendors.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience working in an enterprise or data centre environment.
