Maintain and upgrade the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) network and its connectivity to other offices, regional exchanges, colocation sites, and clients.
Provide network design, solution deployment, and technical documentation for network and security-related equipment such as LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring availability, stability, scalability, and security while adhering to company standards.
Contribute to transformational projects in the APAC region.
Optimize tools for the network infrastructure team, with a strong focus on automation.
Understand regional business requirements and collaborate with central engineering teams to develop appropriate technical solutions in line with global infrastructure standards.
Gather business requirements, define, document, and communicate solutions to relevant parties, and oversee or implement those solutions with the central team.
Create and implement Network Automation Scripts and tools using programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or Ansible).
A diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
5+ years of experience in network deployment services, with at least 2 years in the finance industry.
Expertise in exchange connectivity and trading network infrastructure design, implementation, and support (CCIE certification is a strong plus).
Hands-on experience with network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and network management tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Micro Focus, Zabbix).
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IP multicast, QoS, VPC, VRF, spanning tree, Data Center setup, and Cisco ISE, with strong deployment and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting/analysis tools such as Zabbix, MFNA, Solarwinds, WireShark, CPacket, SevOne, etc.
Familiar with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Working knowledge of ITIL framework.
Proficiency in managing complex IT projects, from proposal writing and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills at all levels.
Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
