Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Technically sound and consistently designed and delivered to client’s project requirements.
2. Preparation of design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimates and schedules for project assigned.
3. Assist Professional Engineer in management of preparation, liaison, and follow up with authority submission and approval.
4. Liaison with client, architects, QS and other project consultants throughout the duration of projects.
5. Supervise and guide employees assigned to the projects.
6. Role as project manager.
7. Implementation of QA/QC.
8. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic with more than 5 years of working experience in engineering design consulting practice on Building Services projects.
2. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board with more than 3 years of working experience in engineering design consulting practice on Building Services projects.
3. Being a Professional Engineer is an advantage.
4. Strong project technical knowledge and design software.
5. Good supervision and project management skills.
6. Excellent with local codes and authority submission procedures.
7. Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills.
8. Lead team of staff for successful delivery of projects.
9. Strong analytical skills would be preferred.
10. Strong time management and resources management skills.
