Job Description:

  • Responsible for liaising with Production, Customers, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and Freight Forwarders to monitor and prioritize/expedite all outstanding critical/urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
  • Perform analysis of all outstanding material requisitions and the processing of back orders.
  • Responsible for the generation and distribution of daily outstanding material status reports to all concerned parties.
  • Maintain the proper process flow via coordination between customers, departments, and freight forwarders to ensure on-time supply for all material requisitions during aircraft maintenance checks.
  • Liaise with production/customers to resolve long lead-time material demands.
  • Ensure appropriate approval from customers/management prior to spares procurement and/or check the customer's ERP system for stock availability.
  • Attend production meetings and identify spares that could potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule, work stoppage, or disruption to production schedules.
  • Support customer requests for material support and other reports when assigned.
  • Perform ad hoc material and operational tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Comfortable facing customers.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
  • Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
  • 5 working days, with additional scheduled support on alternating Saturdays and Sundays.
